MorningSun Publishing brings Minglanilla first paper

Premier Issue of M Newsmagazine

Minglanilla, Cebu–MorningSun Publishing, the publishing division of Zeitgeber LC, will bring to Minglanilla its first newsmagazine, simply named “M”, December this year. “The newsmagazine will be out to the people of Minglanilla at mid-December and close to Christmas Day,” says Zosimo Literatus, Zeitgber LC senior partner and acting division chief editor.

“M” will earn the distinction of the first free newsmagazine in the Visayas and Mindanao area. The management markets the newsmagazine in such a way that it would actively involve the community in maintaining its contents, circulation, and financial resources. No specific detail on the marketing strategy has been revealed at least until the Premier Issue goes out next month. 

The historic issue will highlight the history of Minglanilla as a town and touch on various faces of the spirit of Christmas. Except for the News Cuts section, all the sections in this newsmagazine provides a space for which readers can contribute their own words.

“Smart Love” hits Minglanilla stands on Nov 27

Minglanilla, Cebu–Zeitgeber Publishing, a division of Zeitgeber LC, announced that a new title in the Practical Love series will hit Minglanilla stands next week. The easy-to-read booklet entitled “Smart Love: A Young Woman’s Guide to Intimacy Before Marriage” provides practical guide that women can use in dealing with the issues and dilemmas involving intimacy before marriage.

“The subject remains very relevant today because of the obvious difficulty young women face in balancing the need to preserve the relationship and the pressure that entails towards the dangers of physical intimacy before marriage,” explains Zosimo Literatus, senior manager of the publishing division.

Literatus owns the copyright of the booklet written by a relative unknown Dolf Locsin.

“It is true that Dolf Locsin is a still unknown writer. I met him sometime in early 2003, and he agreed to write for me then a few titles I was planning to publish,” he recalled.

“He is insightful though and writes very well. You can judge the content of the booklet when you read it. It is a relatively short 24-page work but you can learn a lot from it. That I can guarantee,” Literatus concluded.

The booklet will be under the label Zucchetto Books. It is sold at a price of P 54.49. But the publishing house will be giving a Publisher’s Discount of 10 percent to the first 1,000 direct buyers, and another 10 percent on those who buy in bulk to share copies of the work to their friends and relatives.
